Run for Sight!
Run for Sight is a great community event!- a 5K run/walk in which Shoreline Vision partners with the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI). Why have we come together with ABVI? We want to help people all over West Michigan who live with severe vision loss. We are getting there, but we have a long way to go! This year, with your help, we hope to raise $12,000 to support vision rehabilitation services.
Last year ABVI assisted over 1,100 family members, friends, and neighbors who are blind or visually impaired. For over 96 years, the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired has been working to give people who live with vision loss the ability to live with dignity, independence, and opportunity.
We love our community and are proud to be holding our unique 5K run/walk, the Run For Sight, along beautiful Lake Michigan at Pere Marquette Park. The visually stunning race path will be shared with friends who are visually impaired, who will walk the route after the runners begin.
The 10th Annual Run For Sight will take place Saturday, September 5th, at Pere Marquette Park in Muskegon.
We look forward to having you join us and being part of our wonderful team of sponsors. Your participation will help those who are visually impaired meet the daily challenges of living without vision in a sighted world. Thank you so much.
