Creating positive impact.

Making a difference.
Giving back to our communities.

Creating positive impact in the communities where we live, work and play.

Social Impact

We believe in using our influence to create positive change. Our social impact donation strategy is built around four key focus areas: Mental Health and Wellness; Learning in Tech; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and the Environment.

Mental Health & Wellness

We believe that the health of our One Team is tied to the health and wellness of our employees and our communities. We are committed to supporting and advocating for initiatives focused on enhancing mental health and wellness, in the tech sector and beyond.

Learning
in Tech

We believe that the future of the tech industry depends on its ability to attract and retain diverse talent. We are committed to supporting educational programs and initiatives that encourage students to pursue careers in STEAM.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We believe that diverse representation in games can contribute to building a more equitable, inclusive and just society. It is important to us that our products reflect the diversity of our players, and to create communities where everyone can feel that they belong and are welcomed.

The
Environment

We believe in using our influence to create positive change. At Hyper Hippo, we are committed to working and playing sustainably, and encouraging others to do the same.

Working for a company that gives back to our local communities makes me so proud. Making a positive impact on the world really is at the heart of Hippo's vision, and being able to be a part of that means so much - I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

Our Partners

We are proud to partner with, and amplify the work of, organizations working to create positive impact through awareness, education, advocacy, and social outreach, including the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA): Kelowna Branch, Take This, and Women in Games International (WIGI).

We are proud supporters of our local food banks, as well as organizations working to support Indigenous individuals, families, and communities who have been impacted by Canada’s residential school system. We believe it’s important to be there for our communities when the need arises and have donated to the BC Flood Relief efforts, the Canada-Ukraine Foundation, and to the Red Cross COVID-19 relief efforts.
